The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday reiterated that it has no role in the death of Sargodha University CEO Mian Javed.
“We reject media reports,” said a NAB statement, adding that the purpose of the propaganda against the bureau was to damage its credibility.
The statement said Javed passed away at the Services Hospital while in the custody of prison authorities. It said the NAB chairman had prohibited officials from keeping the university administrator in handcuffs. The NAB said chairman’s orders were being implemented in accordance with the law.
