Former director general Intelligence Bureau (IB) Aftab Sultan on Monday appeared before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to record his statement in an investigation into bulletproof vehicle case. Sultan appeared before NAB’s Rawalpindi chapter to record his statement after being summoned by the anti-graft watchdog body. Former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have already recorded their statement in the case. According to the NAB 34, bulletproof vehicles were procured from Germany for the guest of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conference. The vehicles were bought without paying import duty, it added.
