LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi has decided to file a review petition in the Supreme Court (SC) against its verdict in the disqualification case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
The Supreme Court had partially rejected the earlier petition of Hanif Abbasi as it declared Imran Khan ‘cleared’ but disqualified Secretary General Jahangir Khan Tareen.
During a press conference on Monday, Hanif Abbasi said he would file a review petition against the judgment of SC clearing Imran, adding that this time the PTI chief would be disqualified.
He also lashed out at PTI leader Aleem Khan calling him a “defaulter of billions”.
He said Aleem would be held accountable for his financial wrongdoings in several development projects.
He further said the political career of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif can not be ended on someone’s whim.
